hair accessories

lately I've been having to wear my hair up, which I hate doing and rarely ever resort to. But it's been getting really hot and humid so, alas, no other choice! Due to these circumstances, I've had to get creative... as I despise ponytails. I've found that a nice little touch to any up-do, or even ponytail, I suppose, are hair accessories. I'm not a fan of headbands honestly. Like, the simple plastic ones. They tend to give me a migraine and they're a little too plain for my liking. But with that said, I also don't like anything too extravagant.

I've really been liking hair combs a lot. They're reminiscent of my grandmother.. and I'm sure, any grandmother, really. They're a simple yet elegant way of holding hair away from the face. I

Also, I know I mention them a lot but Forever 21 has just about become my favorite store for accessories. They have an amazing selection of headbands, featuring anything from a giant mesh flower to a floppy side-bow, for about $5. Cute, and cute price ;]
